« on: June 03 2009 02:06:00 »

me and a few friends have 8 days to experience the northern beaches of spain june 25th - july 3rd. all intermediate surfers and backpackers on a budget. can anyone recommend any good camping spots on the north coast and intermediate beach breaks? will water be warm enough for no wetsuit? where should we hire boards from for a week?

oh and one more the best way to get from beach to beach on a train or bus or hire a car?

All aussies so not sure of the rules yet as to if we are allowed to drive in spain

thanks guys!

Heya Tiff, dont have much input but me and a couple of friends are looking to do the same about the same time and we've looking at buying an interrail ticket for £171 that gives 6 days of travel in 1 month but there are cheaper deals for shorter periods of time, there are train stations at most of the main north coast cities so thought this would be the best way to get about. We are also camping so if you find out anything relevent would be great if you could pass it on cos we are a bit clueless and just sort of going out with the hope something will work out haha. Oh and been asking about and apparently cantabria area is pretty sweet for beginner/intermediate level surfing!
