Surfing Fueteventura Early May 2011

Hey! I'm heading to Fueteventura to surf early May. I'm fairly advanced and have all my own stuff so really just looking for a friendly chilled place to stay that is central and near most surf spots.  Struggling to find anything on the web.  Can someone please help me out and suggest a few places to stay or even look at?

Also will i need to bring my wetsuit or is it warm enough to get away with surfing in boardshorts?
