Surfing sri lanka may/june/july

« on: May 13 2013 14:05:00 »

Hi there,
I'm planning to travel sri lanka for the 2014 summer and i would like to know a litle bit more about it. how are the conditions in this part of the year ? is it safe to travel lonely (18 y.o. guy)? i have planned to go from colombo to arugam bay by train and bus... is there anyone who have done a similar trip? Anyone knows cheap resorts ? if you have any ideas, recommandations, advices, please reply!

Thank you very much,

Dear Hugues,

I`m Buddhika from Sri Lanka. Summer time is ideal for water sports in Sri Lanka, sunny & windy climate.. as you preferred you can visit Arugambay by train. but if you can give me the exact date i`ll give you more details, because by September tourist season start to Sri Lanka. then south coastal area will get more clear and suit to swim and other water sports. Any way if you coming lonely is not a problem. you can visit any where in Sri Lanka (After 30 years of war period now Sri Lanka is a free and safe country). There are so much of cheap hotels to stay near by the beach north and south. You can contact me via skype : buddhika0770777272 or mail me buddhikajayarathna[at]
