INTERMEDIATE ADVANCED SURF

Hello im arriving to Sri Lanka next week.
My first question is about how to get to south. What is better if we arrive at 8 pm? taxi? driver arranged with a south hostel? spend one night in colombo and next day take a train to the south??
any idea??

where is possible to rent a tuk tuk to move around the island? is it recommendable??

Moreover I would like to know about spots with waves ables to experienced surfers.
what do you recomend?
and finally what about visit Arugam Bay, we have read that is not the best seasons to surf there but it is really or we could find a glossy bath??

Thanks for your help.

RE: INTERMEDIATE ADVANCED SURF

Hi!

I am fliying to Colombo in two weeks, perhaps we see each other about the layline!

My plan is to catch a train from Colombo to Galle (every 15min) from there we eventually have a transfer to a flat which we have already booked.

Our Idea is to rent there for the whole week a bike or a car (5 days). Where don't know; I am still asking for information (hotels, apartment).

My bigest worry now is where should I rent/buy a board and which size (6,0 is OK?)? Honestly I would like to rent but prices are getting higher I have heard... any INFO?

Looking for surf spots in Sri Lanka ?
