Hi, I live in "ABay" running Rocco's Hotel. The recent violence has esculated but "Abay" is not in the trouble area. The troubles are 5-10 hours north Batticola - Jaffna. The FOC travel warning states travel south of Pottuvil (The nearest town north) is safe. I have never witnessed any trouble or heard of any, I feel safe travelling around the area.
