TRAVELLING WITH A KID AND LOOKING FOR WAVES« on: July 05 2005 05:07:00 »
HEY ALL. WE ARE GOING TO SRI LANKA FOR THE SURF AROUND NOV/DEC THIS YEAR AND WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THE PLACE IS SHAPING UP AFTER LAST YEAR´S TSUNAMI. WE HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD GIRL SO WE ARE JUST A BIT MORE CONCERNED THAN NORMAL FOR HER SAKE ABOUT CONDITIONS AND HEALTH MATTERS ETC. ANYONE WITH ANY SOUND INFO ON THIS WOULD BE A GREAT HELP AS WE PLAN TO TRAVEL A BIT BETWEEN THE SURF SPOTS. THANKS AND PEACE.

you have absolutely no worries at all
just returned to oz 29/7/5
surfed around Arugan bay
you would bebetter hanging around Hickaduwa on the west cooast , i was there Jan 2003 absolutley great
the whole place is child friendly, same heath worries as Oz,that is cars etc and you taking your eyes off her,if your a
good careing parent you have no dramas ,dont spend another moment worrying, spend it planning a great trip
