Arugam Bay Wave Size

« on: July 12 2009 07:07:00 »

I'm off to Arguam Bay in Sri Lanka in a couple of days and wondering if anyone has been and can advise me on how big the waves could be at this time of year (i'm staying a month)... Only want to take two boards so trying to decide whether to take my regular shortboard and a step-up if there's going to be a fair few 1.5+ overhead days or small wave board if it's going to be small often...

Thanks a lot.

How did it go at Arugam Bay.  I am planning to go there in August.  Bit concerned about crowds.  What are your comments on the place overall.
