Ok.......Taiwan, wacky place but the people are awsome..most of them anyway... the trick to Taiwan is get out of taipei as soon as possible...either ent a car or take a train to Fulon......right near the train station you will find the Innternational caffe...ask for Dollar...he has a few rooms to rent and is an alround awsome guy....plus his caffe rocks....from there you just keep heading south...Dasi, or Dashi or Daxi is next along..

if you tired of teaching english or working in the Taiwan, just take train down to East coast,Pacific side of Taiwan island, the town call Hualien.if you intresting come down to surf,or simply just need to Chill Out......Hualien is the best choice, the town is next to the pacific ocean, and 30 min south of Taroko National Park( Marble Gorge)
