Surf in Zanzibar« on: February 21 2014 14:02:00 »
Hey guys, there is not much information about surfing on Zanzibar, but actually there are a couple of nice spots over here. I live on the island and like to go surfing over here myselve, so I will share this knowledge about surfing in zanzibar with you. With our water sports center we run beginner surf lessons and also boat trips to the reef for a surf. It is actually an awesome place to go surfing as you are most times the only one in the waves, so you only have to share with your friends. You can find pics of our lessons and the spot in our facebook page. Just search for Aquaholics Surf- & Kitetrips Zanzibar. More info and pics of the spot you can also find here: www.unique-kitecamps.com/surfing. Hang loose and see ya all for a surf in zanzibar

Best spots are along the reef on the South East Coast. We just opened a new surf school in Coral Rock Hotel in Jambiani. We have a good variety of boards to rent, from 8 foot beginner boards to a 5'8 retro fish. We also organize lessons and half day trips to the reef including drinks, snacks, boards, boat, snorkel gear and a unique subwing experience. You can contact us in facebook via www.facebook.com/surfandkitezanzibar and we can hook you up with a good surf on the island.
