i am staying at Bangkok and i was just woundering on average how long it takes to get to the surf breaks,          Hinsuay Namsay and Mae Ram Phung by car.

3 hours roughly

anyway forget about it , it's flat until next south west monsoon ( april - may 07 ), try Samui instead until feb. 07

Hi

Ko Samui is the biggest Island in the gulf.

From BKK, drive down to Surat Thani ( bus, train or car ) then take a ferry to Samui ( 2 / 3 hours ) , then go to Chaweng beach.
