Learn how to surf

I would like to know where it would be possible to learn how to surf! I´m thinking of something like lessons or so!
I´m from Germany and gonna stay somewhere in Thailand from December to March!
Hoping anyone can help,

I don't think Thland has many surf schools, if you'd really want to learn to surf, indonesia: Bali is a lot better, better waves and plnety of surf schools and board rentals.

Hi Annika,well december to march is not surf season in phuket,waves will be very small,but that should not bother you if you are learning to surf...after all,you must learn to paddle before you can walk...hehee..!!saltwaterdreaming surfshop at surin beach will help you with all board rentals,tho I am taking my own board in july/august...hoping for some clean waves,not necessarily big,just clean and smooth....happy wave and board hunting...!!....Tho,I heard waves could happen on the east coast(thai gulf)during december march maybe,but this could be a miss rather than a hit I think.....Just wish for a storm in the gulf and you'll score....

Hello there!

I am quite interested also to learn surfing, but right now I am still do research where would be the best spot to surf in thailand.

Take note my email, whatever info I would have I will share it to you. I am Filipino not Thai national.

I wonder how much would it cost me for the surfboard? he he he

really...surfing is awesome im sure you will do a great learning to surf in thailand but i learned in cali and they taught me so much better (no offence). i suggest you should shot down there for some lessons after thailand. much luck with the surf.
