Surfing in Holland

« on: July 19 2008 06:07:00 »

Hi all,
I have the surfing bug and am moving to the hague for work in september.....is there a good surfing culture any surfing or watersports clubs??? Where can i meet people and where are the best spots? Is it worth me bringing my board over for the year or getting one out there?
Thank you
Alexandra

From september on there are some swells but the water can be cold and it could become crowded (nowadays). The best spots are around Scheveningen and it is worth bringin your board. Or you can buy/rent them over here.
