Ive recently been there and I reckon a place called Heilala holiday lodge is the ticket.. Theres Motels about 1 Minuit walk down the beach wich seems to be a fairly consistent little break and to the right of this is another break that seems to be more consistent with slightly larger swell. Ive surfed a bit around the pacific (Rarotonga, Samoa, Fiji, Auzy, NZ) and I would defiantly head back over here as the surf is epic and for the cost involved, staying at heilala was mint to I looked at a few other options and was wrapped with this one upon seeing the others- its super nice for the price.
