surf access end March

« on: January 14 2005 21:01:00 »

Hi.  I am heading to tonga end of March for 2 weeks.  Will the surf be accessible from the beach or do you need to join a boat/surf safari every day?

Also how bad is the rains at this time?  Does it tend to rain in the afternoons to relieve the humidity or all day?

Thanks
Nancy

Hi everyone. Fun to read everyones chat about surfing in Tonga. I'm from South Australia and I'm coming over to Tonga for a month from Feb 11th to find out for myself, along with a couple of other surfer grrls. I've always wanted to visit for a whole lot of reasons so I'm excited as anything. Will pass on what I find out. Feel free to ask me about South Oz surf too. All the best and see ya there!
