RE: Surf on other Islands of Tonga« Reply #1 on: March 12 2005 22:03:00 »
Try Paul (Vava'u surf adventures) at the Cafe Tropicarna in Niafua on the Island of Vava'u. Ha'atafu beach is not bad but this group of islands is more like your classic south pacific island surfing should be. Stay at the Tongan Beach Resort and he will pick you up in his boat and take you to numerous breaks within 30 minutes. Or stay at the Blue Lagoon Resort with 3 different waves within paddling distance. Unlike Ha'atafu you will be surfing alone unless you bring someone else.
