hey im probably going to be moving to tonga for 3 months starting february. ive just taking up surfin in nz with a 7'6 mini mal. was wondering if i should bring it over and surf. i aint that good and wondering if the surf in tonga would be to much for a begineer. also if i dont bring my board can you hire in tonga quite easily?

i'd be concerned that you have a mini mal as tonga doesn't really cater to slow mushy waves it is short, sharp and shallow at all breaks
