How bad is Bay Street pollution, really?

« on: June 01 2013 19:06:00 »

How bad is the pollution, really, in Bay Street Santa Monica? I'm tired of driving to Long Beach to surf, and the last time I was at Seal, I was paddling in garbage, which sucked might I add.

Since I'm living in Atwater Village, I'm looking for a nice little break close to me, to help me get my sea legs back as I've been outta state, outta surf for the past 15 years.

I currently live in Atwater Village, LA and just want a spot that's close to me without having to worry about little pizzas showing up on my skin (pollution infection).

Your help is greatly appreciated. ALOHA!
