Oahu Beginner surfer, Spots? Best Lessons?

I am going to Oahu October 10,2014 - October 17,2014. We will be staying the first 4 nights in a house minutes from Haleiwa Town. Im 17 and i have took surf lessons in California and Florida and Texas. The last time i surfed i was riding a 7' 6" Shaped by JLS (was a mini Malibu shape) in Texas. Im looking for any recommendations on Surf lessons and Rentals and if theirs any places you recommend i go.
Thanks!

There's a couple of places that give lessons at Haleiwa Beach Park next to Surf n Sea. Brian Surratt's running one of them.  Depending on the size of the swell at the time, Puena Point may be the only place that's small enough to try to get into the water for a first shot.
