Maverick's

« on: September 07 2004 18:09:00 »

I'm looking to surf Mavericks but would like to head out to it on my brothers waverunner first just to take a look at it and watch people ride the break.  Can anybody give me some ideas as to where the best place to launch the jetski is and how to navigate to the channel by where the waves are breaking?

Thanks a bunch.

Scott

ok first of all are u experienced? if not do not go there....ive broken my board and almost died there....if i were u and ur going there i would definitiley climb dont the mountain and u should see a small path then there u see a cliff and a small ramp climb down and tow the jetski in the water. Be careful while loading. Then ull be about half a mile from the maverick's. To get to this spot just travel about 5 min north and then look for a carls jr. Once ur in the water u should be able to spot the location because of the waves.
