Does anyone no any good surf spots on Long Island???????????

I would like to know if anyuone knows any good place that i can get very good waves and i can surf! i would really appreciate it if anyone knew some great spots on fire island or on Long Island! i know that there are some good beaches around, but i need some help,since im a new surfer!

of course too many to count....check the beach where i hail from...smiths point(go in front of the FINS tower for tubes in winter and fall), long beach, democrat point(more experienced wave), Almost any beach in montauk, Sailors Haven can get good on ocasion, Cupsouge before the life guards come out, so much more look around the site for detailed info

if ur experienced i recomend democrat point on the very western tip of fire island and turtle cove right below montauk point light house, both spots need atleast a 5 foot swell to work good and when there working its like surfing heaven, they both work best in winter. so be prepared to bring 5/3 full suits, hoods, gloves, boots the whole 9 yards unless u go in the fall

yea turtles is rlly good but dnt drop in on any1 i usually surf at long beach gilgo democrat and my own secret spot that u cant no about but u should go to gilgo its more of a beginner break but dt go on a big day if ur just startin i usually like to got to demo its a left but its usually nice and the water is nice and clear thier
