It's typically slow, but you might get a swell. Best of luck, and watch out for the landlord.

Big sur is very very fun when it has a decent south swell and no winds. The winds get pretty crazy and blow the place out. Andrew Molera needs a huge south to work, so the chance aren't that great. And the other places have a bad vibe and angry locals. I may prefer the grey suited mammal instead of the jerks that slash tires and wreck havoc to your vehicle. Try Santa Cruz or Monterey as a back up. Where are ya arriving from? I surfed today and it was way small but at least I got in the water.

You seem to know your way around Monterey, any beginner spots in the area? Thanks for info
