LA Surf

« on: August 06 2007 20:08:00 »

I just moved to LA from the Philippines and was wondering where I can go to surf. I'm an intermediate longboarder, and I'm hoping for a spot with relatively mellow crowds and not many longboard haters.

Oh sweetie, you have hit the jackpot.  There are a million surf spots around you, pick a scene to hang in.  You could try the maps here on Global Surfers for an idea, or just call up your local surf shop and ask them where to go.  If you're cute, they may even drive you there and hang with you.  Or you could head west till you can't go anymore and check it out for yourself.
