Well i'm thinking of going to Hawaii and i am a pretty good intermediate surfer. Are there any well known spots that get small enough and still break without crushing you into the reef?

First time commentating, but Waipouli on Kauai is a fair learners's break on Kauai's north shores; it's a reef break you can walk too with boots, but the real deal here is Charo lives on the point and her tits look likes mountains from the water. Hooowzit!

Oh c'mon !!! Go for the gusto.  Pipe and backdoor  Wiami Bay.  You might get worked, but at least you'll learn to survive.  While your at it, Take Tom and bribe him to go out first.  Tell him he'll never be considered a real surfer unless he surfs those breaks in the winter time. It'll be funny to see him trying to get past the Shore Break at Sunset Beach.
