Surfing in Florida?
« on: June 05 2005 15:06:00 »Hi guys!
I want to start surfing late this summer (in Florida) and I was wondering if it would be worth to buy a mini malibu if I went surfing once or twice a week (maybe for a half year).
How much will a second hand board cost? Does anyone know a good shop around Orlando?
Do you think a mini malibu is a good choice to begin and will it be still of use when I get more experienced?
I also thought about a shortboard...
Do I need a wetsuit in October/November?
Thanks!!

Go for a longboard, or a mini malibu. there easy to learn on and will always be of use regardless of your skill level, Surf on. Jon
