The Keys« on: June 24 2005 20:06:00 »
On a recent trip to Lauderdale, I asked a local lifeguard where the best surf was,he replied "The Keys". I Laughed, I live in the keys. Sure theres surf in the keys, 3-5 miles off-shore. The best Surfing in Southern Florida runs from Ponce Inlet (Daytona) to Cocoa Beach. Lots o' deserted coast to choose from and best of all, no 50 degree mornings like Balboa CA in January, and accomodations are dirt cheap in the summer.
