Are there any surfing beaches in Northern CA, that are safer "Sharkwise" - for those of us who are beginners, and are a little nervous about GWs.

Thx

Don't worry about sharks, just don't go in the water near rivermouths, all by yourself, Or when there are perfect waves and nobody is in the water surfing.

Just always surf with someone slower than you. You can also make sure they are bleeding a little.

Go where there is deep murky water and spongers with fins and gloves.  Also cover yourself with blood, it's a good trick to keep sharks away.

If your going to worry about sharks forget about surfing Norcal, they're here, they know where you are and if they want to eat you they will. If you worry about it too much it will paralize you with fear when you should be enjoying the beauty of our coast and it's waves.

No, sharks will eat you just about anywhere you go but first you must survive the car ride out here which you are much more likely to die doing.
