A year of surfing« on: September 06 2005 21:09:00 »
I am thinking about taking a year off after high school and travelling somewhere, getting a job, staying in hostels, and most importantly surfing. If you had to choose between the East Coast of Australia and Europe, which would you choose? Also, has anyone here been to Ireland, and is the surf really as good as they make it seem (a cold water Indo)?

dude, you should DEFINITELY go to east australia! I have personally surfed many spots there and that is the best place that I have ever been to surf. I haven't been to Ireland to surf but i know the british coasts can be pretty good too but there is no comparison between europe and Australia.
