Hi I am wondering if anyone has any good websites that focus on giving instructions or any helpful suggestions for learning to surf.

The learntosurf.info page has a lot of information about surfing if you follow the link to their surf school page. It also has some great video clips. should be very helpful.

There are a few you should go look it up, but the best advice I can give you is to teach yourself.  Experience is the key.

Yes that is a good site.  But try to teach yourself immediately after checking out a good website.

That website at learntosurf.info is definately a good place to start.
I just finished downloading the videos.  Very nice.

Surfing is the ONLY way to get good at surfing. Get out there no matter what the conditions-its the only way to get good

once you can get up nd ride a wave straght in start trying to angle yourself a bit on the wave, once you can do that practice bottom turning, and the rest as they say is history!
