Waves on Santo« on: March 05 2007 19:03:00 »
A good friend has purchased some land on Santo, I'm planning a trip their in May 07 to have a look & help with his house design. Should I take my board? I will have sccess to a car & plan to do some exploring, I have been told to look at the south end for waves. Any ideas?

I do not think there is any good surf in Santo. Its not worth to bring surfboard.
Stayed there 3month and had no surf.
If you can get to blacksand beach in South west Santo there might be some surf but takes 2 hours to get there tho.
Heard there is a good reef in Island (Sakau island or some thing)off North East Santo but takes huge amount of time to get there.
