Venezuela in June/july« on: March 01 2006 11:03:00 »
Hey.. Just wondering whether it`s possible to find a surf school in Venezuela and what the average temperature is in june/july.. We`re two girls going to Venezuela, we don`t know where to go and we want to learn to surf.. Staying a month :) Can`t wait!

Venezuela It's a tropical country so it's hot all year round, in june/july it will be aprox. 35 centigrades.
Go to Margarita, it's a lot more chilled than the main land. once there head to playa parguito, there's a lot of surfing activity there and around. Also buy a lonely planet guide to Venezuela, (it will be useful) and of course if you can learn some basic spanish, that will make you trip easier.
Good luck and ask to have an empanada de cazon (local food), they are a must if you're in margarita.

Hey. We still haven`t collected alot of information considering surf schools etc. so I think we`ll take it when we get there. When are you going there? Where are you going? We`re catching a plane from Paris 14 june and we still don`t know where we`re going..
