hay, im thinking of taking 2 weeks in begining of june to surf in venezuela, not bothered where in country (white snad nd palms a priority) but at a maximum of a two week trip, i might be limited to caracas area. can anyone tell me good spots, places to stay and where to get a second hand board (im cming from argentina so have no abiltiy to bring my own and litle money) cheers

If you're limited to the Caracas area, you can hit up some surf at los caracas, a break that's about an hour to two hours depending on traffic and where you leave from Caracas. If you go, make sure to leave early as possible to avoid traffic and random road closures. If you can get out of Caracas a bit, I suggest taking a trip to Margarita where you can find plenty of white sand, clear beaches, and a few good waves too.
