Rental in Vietnam

« on: September 19 2005 00:09:00 »

I'm in vietnam, wondering if there are any places that rent boards at a sensible rate. Heading north from Saigon in the next few days. Any other advice welcome. I've been out of the water for a year :( so any good spots to get reaquainted would be appreciated too.

Hi guys. Im in Phan Tiet right now. I went here with no experience or knowlage about surfing here in vietnam. Its not big here but u can rent boards along the beach. The condition of the boards is not the best but its ok. The waves are REAL good if the condiions are nice. In the morning and in the afternoon.
Take a bus from Phan Tiet to Mui ne. It takes about 10 minutes. Here u can check in to many diffrent hotels.

Over and out!

I live in Da Nang between marble mountains and Furama Resort now ten minutes from the beach after the government took our land at the beach ( that's vietnam ).

I rent Boards from 6,3 to 9 foot, bring them to your guesthouse for 120 thousand VND ( 7,5 USD ) per day.

tel. 0904 30 10 72  or ask around for Gunnar

Greetings, Gunnar Moeller
