Mui Ne - where to rent surf boards?« on: February 08 2009 16:02:00 »
We are going to be in Mui Ne at the end of March, beginning of April. While it sounds wind might be too much for surfing that time of year, we are still hoping to get in a few times (we will be there for several days), weather permitting. Any thoughts on where we could rent boards? Ideally, we'd rent for several days and just keep the boards with us so we could paddle out if the waves looked decent.

No idea where to rent from, but I'm thinking of heading to Mui Ne in a week or so, and am curious as to whether the surf is good at the mo?
Thanks for any help :)

The best surfspot in Vietnam I found was in DaNang. So if you have the chance or if you go to HoiAn check the coolest Surfshop I ever saw Tam's Surfshop! You can rent Boards there for 5 bugs the whole day. Check it out: 43 ho xuan huong st,Da Nang City, Tel: (+84)0905406905

I forgot to say... Best food in whole Vietnam at Tam's Surfer Restaurant and Bar! Unbelievable good western food (spaghetti, burger, fries) and breakfast, as well as asien dishes.

I am going to Mui Ne tomorrow and hoping to grab some waves. Does anyone have an update on wave conditions or another place to rent a board besides surfpoint? Thanks!
