Surf packages in Florianopolis

« on: July 14 2005 13:07:00 »

Just got back from a trip to Florianopolis and had a blast.  Did a surf package which included a room in a condo on Mole beach, a surf guide and transportation to the breaks.  I only paid $625 for the week and had a blast.  Would totally recommend the island to anyone.  The girls were unbelievable.

Who did you go thru to get your surf package? If you could send the web site that would be greatly appreciated.

DO NOT USE BRAZIL SURF TRAVEL!!!  Please, for the love of god, do not do it!!  I got totally effed over! do not believe anything mauricio (the guy in charge) has to say...he is a scam artist!  As for the waves, they were decent, but far from epic...i went during the winter, which is supposedly the best season and it was nothing special...if you are looking for epic surf everyday, do not go to floripa!!! save your money and go to panama or costa or something...however, if you like to party and hookup with the hottest chicks in the world, go to floripa!!  just don't go in the winter because it gets pretty deserted and the parties are better in the summer.

Spend some time down in Floripa in Feb...heading back down in December. Waves were consistent given it's their summer.  Ladies were way more consistent. Best all around trip I've been on ever. Stayed in Mole with Nexus Surf. Everything was dialed in...surf, nights, you name it.  Enjoy Floripa!!!

Just told another guy in a separate thread that I stayed with the Nexus camp in Floripa last March.  Surf was fun, not too big (~head high) most the week. Nexus had great accomodations in Mole, plus they drove us everywhere day and night so we didn't have to worry about figuring the place out. There's 20+ breaks within an hour drive so it was good having somebody else know what was working and when (tide, winds etc.,). Same with nightlife, took a lot of guess work out of it.

Cheers

WE┬┤VE BEEN THERE DURING THE WCT AND THE PLACE BLEW MY MIND.
GOOD WAVES , EXCELENT FOOD, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE AND INSANE NIGHTLIFE...
WE STAYED WITH brazilsurfingadventures.com CREW AND EVERYTHING WENT PERFECT FROM THE ACCOMODATION TO THE SURF GUIDES AND NIGHTLIFE.
