Hrm... Im going to Natal 2 weeks from 10 Nov. Anybody have some tips where to surf around there? cheap places to stay?

I might try the Nomadsurfer camp... Any valuable comments on that?

Go to Tabatinga, you can get a bus there easily from natal. Very Consistent beach break with good peaks and not too crowded, get there at 5am for a glassy surf every day!You can also get a bus to Pipa, about an hour to the south of Natal. A few tasty reefs and beaches which are unbelievably consistent, at least shoulder high every day, look out for laginha!!!You can also surf Ponta Negra-the main beach in Natal, usually small, worth a walk away from the dune further up the beach, but watch the guys there rip the waves to peices!Amazing place, enjoy my friend!

Whoeppa! Thanks lee. have a feeling that I will like this place... But not sure bout paying 400e for a 2 week surf camp. My instict tells me that I can arrange acco. and transport to the spots once im there... Whats a laginha anyways? Guess il find out once im there...

when in ponta negra, stay at the "albergue da costa"!!! a cool place, good people who run it, near the beach and not expensive!
go to alberguedacosta.com.br     and tell the guys greetz from switzerland!!  will be there again next february!

Yeah man!

Go and live at the Aberque da Costa. Cool guys run the place and they also have a hostel in Pipa. Near the beach, the surf, the girls, the whole thing!

I Run a a Hotel with surf camp in Pipa. my site is pipa.no but the site is in english as well.
