surfing kingston

« on: August 24 2006 23:08:00 »

Hey all. I'm coming up to kingston area this sat thru wed and am dying to ride some waves. I've got a 9'2" gun and was learning to surf in socal over the past 2 years. But haven't been out in a year since I moved back east. Any advice on where to go? And if anyone wants to hook up let me know. I'm comin with a bunch of people...but they're all land lovers.

I know I shouldn't expect much, but I would be totally stoked if someone could tell me where I might be able to find any 3-5' waves. Or anything that's ridable on a long board. Thanks.

Get on to Google and type up Lake Ontario !!!  I forgot the name of the sight. I think it's like the second one down.  It gives you Wind direction and Lake heights.   But as far as me, going out yesterday, I knew it was a stiff north western wind so I just drove up and saw the waves.  Ofcoarse I wasn't smart enouph to bring the board with me.  I had to drive 22 minutes to get the board and drive back,......What a pain !!!!!
