Anyone knows a spot to surf a river wave close to Ottawa? I've seen some kayaks some place but the wave is small. Thanks!

Just came back from a trip to France. Basque Coast is a great surf destination but good luck finding a good job.

UNSALTED DVD is out. Its 30$US(+10$US shipping cost) Thats 40$....kind of expensive with the shipping cost.

There will be one screening of the movie in Canada

hi everyone... i'm yet another torontonian just dying to catch a break!  i'm headed down to nayarit, mx to surf for the whole month of august, and i can't wait!  

anywho, i just stumbled on this forum today... and i'm really impressed!  i had no idea that there's so many surfers in the toronto area, or that lake surfing existed!  i fully want to try it out, but perhaps not until after i return from mexico and i'm more confident with my skills...

Good wave at Champlain rapids and it has been board surfed in the spring.  Better wave in the middle of the Ottawa River at Remic Rapids but you need to drop down into it and you are in the middle of the river.  I've only surfed it in a kayak but it is smooth and good all summer long.  I have two boards for sale if you are looking 7' mini mals from Aussie.

Ya there is a static wave at the Champlain bridge close to Aylmer. Better in april/may but check it out

i dont know anything about surfing the lakes. or surfing for that matter. but i did take my board and suit back from my trip to california.

anyways. does anyone know if this hurricane is going to do anything for waves within the next couple of days
