Need to find somebody to surf with in Toronto area.

« on: September 19 2005 20:09:00 »

I have just moved back to  Toronto from New York.  I surfed for about three years in New York (Long Island) and did not think it was possible to surf here.  I am dying to meet people to go surfing with or just pick their brains about local knowledge.

There are LOTS of people that surf in Toronto. On a good day just head to Ashbridge's Bay in east TO or the Bridge in hamilton. lots of friendly vibes. just chill on the beach and chat with people, or head out into the lineup and show off ya stuff. looks like saturday will be sweet so you should try to make it out.if you've got a car, erie can be awesome too.

for the book, they sell them at boardsports on yonge. not sure about silent sports or amuck, they might too.
