Hey Jools, wondering if you are able to help out a wanna-be surfer find a place to learn and have fun.

My girlfriend and I are hitting Chile for a month in November and want to learn to surf.

If you are still there and can recommend some places that'd be great.

Thanks,

Paul

hey

i just arrived in Santiago. I was travelling with my bike, and my last 10 days in Southamerica just started. And i would love to go surfing somewhere near Santiago.

I have to rent everything, and i also need a teacher, because i never was surfing bevor. I only did Kitesurfing in Switerland two times, but i'm also a beginner.

would be cool if somebody had time to show me how to surf... i can come anywhere allready tomorrow...

my phone for a message: 0041 79 582 53 82

I am going to be in Vina for 3 months and am a begin/interm surfer. Are there places to rent boards and surf there. I like just small rolling waves. Wondering if I should bring my 4/3 wetsuit with me. I am working during the week, but will have weekends free.
what do you think?
Thanks!
Laura

Laura if you are still around after Nov 18 let me know , I'm going for a month and want to surf.  I'm a beginner, only surfed a few times but I enjoy all water sports.

Chile has great waves. There are a lot of surf schools around V and VI Region: Valparaiso, ReƱaca, Punta de Lobos, La Puntilla, Pichilemu, El Infiernillo...
