weekend / day surf trips from santiago« on: October 17 2010 15:10:00 »
I've just moved to santiago from Ireland and really want to get some regular surfing in. I've started an internship and will be here for the next few months working monday to friday. I surf a lot at home and have tought surfing in San Diego, California for the last few years. I dont have a car, board or wetsuit at the mo but could chip in on fuel and rent the others for now maybe. It would be great to have someone to surf with, or if anyone wants to learn to surf I could teach?? Cheers, Séamus

My girlfriend and I will be flying into Santiago from Alaska in early Nov. and want to surf as much as possible. We'll be in Chile for 5 weeks and would be up for doing some weekend trips. Maybe we could pitch in on a tour or find a rental shop and bus it. Let me know if you'd like to meet up. Peace,

Aloha from Hawaii,
We are about to arrive in Santiago for an extended journey and would love to catch some waves. No car or boards but will find rentals and could pitch in for transpo as well. Want to look for surf in Pichilema, Punta de Lobos, Buchuponeo and Cobquecura, all south of Santiago.
Email me directly and let's catch some waves!
Christie & Willie

Hey I arrived about two weeks ago now from Cape Town South Africa, I surf in Cape Town and would really really dig to go out surfing the next two weekends 11th - 12th Dec and 18th - 19th Dec maybe stay at the backpackers in PIchilemu for the Friday and Saturday. I also really want to surf during my two week holiday from 25th Dec to 4th Jan, but thinking of heading to Arica to surf as I need to be in Peru after that for work.... I am also doing an internship here until Feb. I am a girl so if you don't mind surfing with one that would be cool. Otherwise, some ideas and advice would be really really cool, thanks!!! Francesca

I'm getting into Chile in a week. Looking for a Surf Safari and some mountaineering/Climbing. I'm game for a trip if you can get time off. I can pitch in for a car. Either way, I'm gonna be in Santiago next week I'd love to meet up and get your opinions of good spots. Let me know, thanks.

About to head to Santiago for 7 months and would be very keen for car-shares and surf-buddies alike to plan some weekend trips. I'm a south african girl, surfed when I was a child, but keen to get back into it so patience will be required... ha ha
