im really stoked to hear about surf in Colombia as i was born there but have been lucky enough to grow up in oz .
i have surfed lots of places around the world but i have dreamt of surfing colombia since i was a kid .ive been surfing since i was 11 and now im 36.
I spoke to a few of the rip curl boys when they did a small segement on surfing the east coast of colombia as they where filming the search vids but this is the first time i have read about so much interest of surfing colombia.
I reckon it would be great for the locals to get $ from travellers and surfers alike so that they can help there local communities.

SURF CAMP IN TAIRONA...This sounds like a great idea. i was born and raised in colombia. Since i was a little kid ive always wanted to go back to tayrona national park. i remember back in the day (i was about 9 now im 28). i went with the whole family on vacation. The waves were gigantic for me at that point and almost drowned. I im going on vacation for a week diring july to check out as many local spots as i possibly can. the surf board might be too much hassle to carry around specially by bus since i want to be on the move. but i am taking my boogie board for sure.

After reading a few of these blogs, I'm getting the idea that my beloved Colombia is changing for the better. Prior to this all I could hear about surfing in Colombia is how dangerous it was and one shouldn't go, etc, etc. Ever since I started surfing I've always dreamt of surfing Colombian waves since they have to be of spectacular quality and size. It seems that the interest is peaking and it's obviously safer now than before, however one should be cautious whether you are in London or in Coastal Colombia. Danger is Danger anywhere you go. In essence, yes I would be interested in being a guest a your surf camp. So, good luck and hopefully it works out for you.

THE IDEA SOUNDS GREAT, COLOMBIA HAS THE SAME CAPABILITIES OF STARTING ITS OWN SURFING INDUSTRY LIKE ANY OTHER COUNTRY FROM CENTRAL AMERICA. NOW, THE QUESTION IS WHERE AND HOW MUCH...I AM COLOMBIAN BUT NOW LIVE IN THE STATES, IT WILL BE KIND OF INTERESTING TO HEAR MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND, MAYBE WE CAN PARTNER UP AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS EXCELLENT IDEA.
ANYBODY INTERESTED LET ME KNOW
