Surfing the Colombian Pacific« on: September 25 2005 11:09:00 »
I am an australian surfer travelling solo to Colombia in less than 2 weeks from Ecuador and want to know the best place to start looking for surf on the Pacific coast. I am guessing that Buenaventura would be the logical jumping off point. I'm just after uncrowded tropical waves that aren't gonna threathen my life but still have some juice. I don't need english speaking guides or any shit like that, just want to experience what the friendly Colombian locals have to offer in terms of surf and soul. Anyone want to hook up for this?

If you want to go to buenaventura, you can surf outside of buenaventura. there are two local spots you can go by a 25 minute boat ride, but the water clarity is terrible. ladrilleros and juanchacko, if i spelled it correctly, I'll be travelling to medellin in a month, if you want to surf let me know cause i plan to terrorize the colombian coast with some miami thrashing

Hey Annette, I think the Jeremy above stole my identity. This is me though, and my sister told me to google my name. Well this is what came up, and yes this is odd. If you would like to get in touch with me, you can send me a message to Ongadesign@yahoo.com. I am wondering how you ended up on this website? I hope things are good with you, take care. j
