Does someone know, when there is the best surf season?

I want to go there in june/july. Is that a good time for serious surf in India?

This ain't the place for serious surf mate!!! Try Indonesia...
If you wanna try your luck Jun/July is not a bad time to try the East coast of India...but nothin' has been seriously explored so if you like the search & can deal with disappointment...go for it...we could try & help you on your search, once your in India.

I am hanging out in India for a couple of months and would love to surf a bit.  I brought nothing with me.  Are there board shops where I could rent or buy?  are there waves in Jan?  I'm a beginner/intermediate surfer. I'll be in Udaipur for the next month or so. any tips are welcome. thanx.

My wife and I are heading down to India from Nepal and hope to get to the coast by mid August and will be staying till late sept.  Hoping to do some surfing down the south of India.  If anyone is leaving India around that time and has some surfboards they want to sell.  We would be interested.  Or if someone is coming over to India and wants to bring some surfboards to sell to us.
