You can surf in Karachi at French Beach in the monsoon months between June - September. The locals living in the area have boards left to them by foreigners and have been surfing there for years. The waves arent ideal and you have to know currents but its a blast!

I lived in karachi in the 70's and used to bodysurf a lot.
There is a strip east of the nuclear power plant , where there are a lot of beach
houses. Caught a lot of 15 second rides on a piece of plywood cut to shape for body surfing. West of the power Plant there was a area that was sandstone that had some bigger waves that might have been good for board surfing, but nobody had one.

Comments :Im 15 and i live in karachi. I body board and surf board mainly at the french beach. 3 or 4 of the locals own boards. You can surf from June to September. There's also a good break at long beach and at Beach BBQ which is right in front of the fish statue roundabout on Hawksbay. The ideal time is late August early September where the swells rise up to maximum 12 feet. And depending on the wind theres some good tube to catch.
