kamu ikuti program studi apa? kalo di acicis-ugm tanya kepada mas Raja aja. dia tahu di mana dan kapan ada ombak bagus. Kalo batu-karas di pangandaran itu jauh banget dari jogja. lebih dekat dengan jogja dan lebih bagus adalah pacitan dan ombak2nya diantaranya.

Yes the question was posted in english. HOWEVER , if someone wants to live in Indonesia for a period of time then someone probably should make the effort to learn the Indonesian language dont you think?
Or should everyone just speak english?

of course theres waves near jogja, but u'll need a car or motorbike with racks. All eastwards, nothing much at all between jogja and pangandaran that i've seen. Not epic at all but great for a break from jogja, its a very small place if ur a bule and studying there. ah, but the women, if only i had my time again...
Anyway u could head to krakal, or wedi's, even watu's, or even over to pacitan, max 4 hours drive, but its all very very fickle and u really gotta know the when and where.
