Morocco Mid June - Water Temp? Wave Quality« on: March 07 2006 20:03:00 »
Just wondering what the water temp is like in June, ive found online that its normally 15-17 degrees in winter, 18-20 in summer. That sounds cooler than I would've expected. Is this accurate?? I'll be packing a standard 3/2 but would love to bust out a springy..
Im from Auckland so im guessing its like our November Dec. temperature wise.

A springy will be fine in June, not the best time for waves seasonally. i had a surf in boardies at Anchor point end of March but 3/2 was standard.
Hope waves find you...

i'm a local surfer of Anchor point, waves in june are quiet good as the april wind starts to stop and you can have glassy summer waves, mainly in beach breaks and few reefs that work only in summer, the water temperature is great, so don't need a 3/2 wetsuit, just a shorty or a john is enough. and for your boards, no need for a semi gun, just s small board is enough as the swell is rarely more than 6 ft, but is quiet consistant as morocco is in open atlantic

Morocco July Road trip from France« Reply #9 on: March 17 2013 05:03:00 »
I'm an Aussie planning a surf road trip from France down to Morocco in June and July 2013. I was wondering if the waves are worth going all the way down there at that time of year. I noticed a local mentioned the wind dies off a little in June which is good and that winter is usually best but these months are all i've got to work with.
Also can anyone tell me whether it's possible to sell a car that i bought in England before I fly out of Morocco? Or do they frown on everyone doing the same thing and using Morocco as a dumping ground for cars at the end of everyone's road trips?
