I live here in Nicaragua. From California. What do you want to know. I'm buying as much land as my wife will allow- this is the next big spot.

I live on the Big island and am interested in buying in this area. do you live there full-time? Is there any work? I've lived in Hawaii most of my life, Maui's northshore and now Big Island. I want to live on the beach or very close to it and quality surf. Too expensive here, looking for alternatives. Going to Costa Rica this Dec. but may also check out property in nicaragua. is there any community? is it stable, politically? i'm also looking at property on fiji. any info. would be greatly appreciated. Mahalos

This is Eric ...Pen's husband. Been too Coata Rica and Panama but missed the investment wave both times ,,, is it too late for me to land a decent 2 bedroom home on the beach for 150K? And what do you think monthly expenses would be for a couple? Any help would be very valuable for us especially from someone like you "on the ground there".
