Mancora is a very small town with many hotels and places to eat, and Party. Its a surf town with a old country vibe, more laid back rasta style. Theirs no Party place, no huge nightclubs. If you want to Party stay in Lima!! You are going at the start of summer so it should not be to crowded. If you want to surf it may be small unless some Northern Hemi swells pick up. Good luck and travel light and smart. Check out WETSAND.COM or WANNASURF.COM for more info regarding Peru. Surf the pages for surf travel? Have a blast and enjoy this wonderful country.

Good to hear some people will be in the region when I'll be down there. I'm heading to Lima in early september, and then from there plan to head north and travel back down the coast surfing along the way. If you are around, give me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org

Okay funny guys, very pleasant you gonna hook up Peru!!
In mancora you can party at Iguannas, Las Palmas and maybe at el punto, the move star quite late at night so if you bring your team you can bang the place(maybe the town!)
in chicama is LESS probably you can make parties. These beginner would need boots for mancoras-lesson.
Just be on shape and don`t expect maners in good spots.
I would like to meet you Henriche, maybe there are some that you didn`t explore yet...
keep surfing rats!!
