ah! fellow sponger! march...dude! I don't see anything good about march waves in PI..I schedule a trip late sept thru early october. plan is crystal beach break and/or la union.. I've been watching postings. cloud 9 would be great but too much traveling it's going to take time away from "vacation". peace!

ey! TOM I don't think hattin' on bodyboarders has reach the philippines yet. surfing in the philippines is sooooo commercialized  it's becoming to be a FAD in fact I think it's already a FAD. as far as I know there's no localism in PI atleast I haven't seen it. I went  to PI 2 years ago no one was around me. bodyboarding is pretty young in PI.

Sounds good. Drop a line when you get here. would be good to meet a fellow sponger as I think meeting them in the PI might be a bit of a challenge.

I'm in the land down under. :-) Sydney specifically. I'm moving back to the Philippines in a few months. got into bodyboarding here in Australia. Tried surfing but could never enjoy it. There are quite a number of bodyboarders here in oz. definitely taken as a serious sport. mind you, when i first heard about it i had my own doubts. those have all been addressed though. :-)
