Hey guys, if you are near Manila, the best place to go is Real, Quezon. There is The Philippine Surfing Academy in Manila, they do lessons there. Look them u on multiply. Surfingacademy. Apparently they are pretty good and they have an aussie coach.

Hi Tim , Beached and Zasha make sure you guys go to San Juan surf resort for lesson. Two years ago i think it was 150 -200 pesos for an hour lesson and thats with an instructor each per person. Thats all you need for the lesson as they will teach you how to paddle and stand up and how to catch a wave. After that you can pretty much go on your own. and I think its about 150 - 200 to hire a board. And just get better and practise. i'm sure you will stand up on that day. Ask for Luke or Brian Landrigan . Brian is an asutralian guy that owns the surf resort and Brian is his son which is a pro surfer there in the Phils.Surfs up guys!! see you all in Nov.
